Original Vanilla Kernel Pc Efi

Kalyway 10.5.1

- make sure bios settings are done
- smooth install, no issues, video & sound can be postinstalled
- additional Kalyway Kernel Package is working fine
- for the first update use Kalyway ComboUpdate
- updates to 10.5.5 working fine, always remove AppleintelPowerManagement.kext during install
- always use Update PKG from Apple, do not use Softwareupdate
- update to 10.5.6 will need DSDT Patch and PlugIn Patch from Universal OSx86 Installer
- if rear USB ports don't work, remove AppleHPET.kext

iDeneb v1.3, Leopard 10.5.5

- Install latest BIOS version.
- Configure BIOS as described here: http://lifehacker.com/348653/install-os-x-on-your-hackintosh-pc-no-hacking-required.
- Boot with iDeneb v1.3 (Leopard 10.5.5) DVD
- Use Disk Utility to format the Leopard partition with HFS+ Journaled.
- Customize install by selecting:
- ICHx chipset driver
- ALC882 audio driver
- AppleYukon2 ethernet driver (for wired LAN)
- Realtek 8187L driver, for wifi. Not sure about this one, I didn't install this one but the original driver from Realtek (http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=24&PFid=1&Level=6&Conn=5&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true), but the one provided in iDeneb disk probably would work too.
- Whatever display driver fits you, I installed ATI X1300 and worked fine.

Everything should work fine, including sleep.

iPC 10.5.6 LiveDVD

- same as iDeneb v1.3
- possibility to do a live system boot and to install
- possibility to mount under a previous osx86 installation with confirming a install from .ISO to new partition/harddisk
- Postmigration from older osx86 partition works fine
- install your language, but english as well, else finder preferences won't work
- 9f23 Installer for 8800GT worked by first install without using Pacifist
